Family Sessions are Fun
I genuinely believe Family Sessions are meant to be fun! A family session with me will be full of play, snuggles, laughter, hugging and all the real moments that happen in between. Our time together will go by fast and we will embrace the chaos of parenthood because there is beauty in that chaos. Is it possible your toddler cries? Yes. Instead of fretting over that, we will document a mother comforting her baby. These sessions are truly meant to be stress-free.
What to Expect
While we always make sure to get some smiling-at-the-camera pictures, the majority of the session will be capturing lifestyle photos with lots of movement. I will be your guide and help direct you along the way, while also providing room for beautiful moments to happen organically. All my full family session clients will receive a very detailed Session Guide with all the information you could possibly need to prepare you for a family session. Plus, I will be available for any questions in between. You will never regret family photos, especially with growing and changing little ones. Let's make some memories!

01. Do we choose the location?
Family Sessions can take place outdoors, in a local studio or in your home. All of my self-booking session times are meant for outdoor sessions, unless they say otherwise, so just contact me if you are interested in a studio or in-home session. All full session clients will receive a Location Guide as we approach your session date. I am, of course, open to shooting in new locations as long as I feel confident it has a few key elements that ensure I'm able to provide you with the best images possible.
02. What do we wear?
A style section is included in the Session Guide you will receive after booking. This includes recommendations for everyone in your family, outfit examples and color palettes for every season and my personal favorite colors to photograph in each color family. It also includes what to avoid and the reason why as well as shop recommendations if you are shopping for outfits. Plus I am available to answer any questions you may have along the way. I provide all the tools and information you could need for choosing what to wear because it makes all the difference -- and my goal is for you to love your photos.
03. Experience sessions are a fun and unique option!
What are Experience Sessions? These are sessions that feel more like an experience than a photo session. Does your family love to play pickleball? Let me tag along and let's turn it into fun family photos? Do you love to picnic at the park? Go boating with your family? What activity does your family enjoy doing together? If you have any ideas, let's chat!
04. What About In-home family sessions?
In-home family sessions are cozy and relaxed. We can keep it simple or even incorporate something your family enjoys like baking, gardening, board games or art. These are a great way to change things up for your annual family photos and the perfect location for nervous little ones. Home is where they are most comfortable so all the nerves will go away! Home sessions outside of the OKC/Edmond Metro incur an additional $50 travel fee.
